Thanks for the video, looking forward to the full review. I've got one on (pre-)order from Gearbest. Please include some (graphics) benchmarks, a GPS test, and check the maximum cpu frequency as there seem to be a lot of poor perfoming 1Ghz MT6735 Socs out there. Allthough your preliminary Antutu score of 27.000 seems to indicate the MX Base is running at the full 1.3Ghz.

Mlais M7 – flagship with fingerprint sensor for just $171 unlocked

Chinese smartphones are usually not as popular because people have this preconception, I’m inclined to call it stigma towards them. In the past, Chinese companies had made themselves a bad reputation for making cheap quality devices that don’t last very much and that seems to have stuck with them in the international tech community. What we need not forget is that they’ve changed and Chinese smartphone manufacturers are upping their game. A good example of upping the game would be Mlais, a Chinese company that has been manufacturing high quality smartphones for quite a while now and has recently launched a rather impressive Android 5.0 Lollipop smartphone, the Mlais M7.

The Mlais M7 is between a mid-range smartphone and a flagship and can be considered a very honorable example of a good, yet cheap smartphone. OnePlus started the bang for buck bar with the OnePlus One and Chinese companies like Mlais are doing the same thing, only with more options. Mlais has a wide selection of smartphones for every pocket and every preference, and the Mlais M7 is one of their newest releases.

Aside from being a stylish little critter, the Mlais M7 is also powerful and equipped with Android 5.0 Lollipop. One thing that’s truly awesome when it comes to Mlais as a company is that they don’t really fill up your new phone with bloatware. Aside from the usual clock and messaging apps, there won’t be much to bother you if you buy a Mlais M7. There’s very little skinning done so you get a near-stock experience, similar to what you would get on a Motorola smartphone and that’s a big plus for Mlais in my book at least.

Flagship smartphones and even mid-range smartphones from companies like Samsung, HTC, LG and Motorola tend to cost a bit much, not to mention Apple’s iPhone line-up. The Mlais M7 price is only $190 and you get an unlocked dual-SIM unit with a fingerprint sensor and LTE, so that’s already a good deal in my opinion. Smartphones with fingerprint sensors, like the iPhone 6, Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy Note 4, HTC One M9 Plus and Meizu MX4 usually go above the $400 mark, so you’re getting great security with the Mlais M7 for less than half that price.

Moreover, the design of the Mlais M7 encompasses all the trends that are en vogue right now, such a phablet format, a good selfie camera, metal frame, slim and sleek design, thin bezels and Android 5.0 Lollipop. When it comes to specs, you won’t be disappointed. First off, the Mlais M7 display is a 5.5 inch IPS display with a 1280*720 resolution. That doesn’t sound like much on paper, but the display in person is actually very bright, sharp and neat. In bright sunlight, you will struggle with it a bit, though, but not as much as to make it unusable. As with any smartphone with a good price, there are trade-offs and the display of the Mlais M7 is one of them. But it’s an acceptable trade-off and most of you, who don’t need a QHD display to use VR glasses or have super-high quality 4K viewing experiences.

Moving on, the Mlais M7 gets a Mediatek MTK6752 64 bit CPU clocked at 1.7 GHz, backed by 3 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage, which is expandable through a microSD card. The main camera is a 13 MP shooter complete with a flash and AF, while the front camera is a 5 MP shooter. The fact that there’s 4G LTE included is once again, a plus for this phone and makes its bang for buck pretty good. The battery life of the device is above average thanks to the 2600 mAh battery and the slightly inferior display. You’ll get a decent two days of use out of the Mlais M7, provided that you’re a moderate user. As a daily driver, it handles itself well, although if you’re using 4G LTE all day, you’ll probably have to charge at night.

The phone itself is lightweight at 160 grams, although it’s heavier than other flagships out there. Although heavy, the Mlais M7 feels great in the hand and the thin bezels around the screen truly look appealing no matter how you look at them. Even though the Mlais M7 isn’t a mainstream smartphone, it does offer an experience that’s simple, powerful and near to stock, thanks to Android 5.0 Lollipop. It’s a good investment and for the $190 price, it’s a steal in my opinion. Moreover, the price is fitting because in case you don’t like the phone, you won’t have lost too much and can resell for about the same amount if that’s how you roll. But I doubt that the average smartphone user will not like the Mlais M7. Go ahead and check it out and let us know what you think about it. Mlais M4 Note Recenzija – Izvrstan Galaxy Note 4 klon

Nakon nekog vremena Hong-kongoška kompanija Mlais je predstavila vrlo zanimljiv mobitel koji je u određenoj dozi zapravo Samsung Galaxy Note 4 kopija odnosno klon. U današnje vrijeme to ne treba značiti ništa loše zapravo naprotiv može biti doista kvalitetan uređaj kao u ovom slučaju Mlais M4.

Kao što sam već prije testirao i napisao recenziju za jedan od njihovi prethodnih modela Mlais M52 koji me je oduševio pa se nadam da će me i M4 također oduševiti. Inače glavne tehničke karakteristike ovog mobitela su: 5.5 inča HD IPS 2.5D zaslon, 2GB RAM-a, metalni okvir, 4G LTE i vrlo niska cijena oko $140.

Dizajn

Kao što možete pretpostaviti M4 Note vanjskim izgledom je vrlo sličan kao Galaxy Note 4 naravno uz nekoliko razlika poput toga što nema Samsung oznake. Ali kada malo bolje pogledate morate priznati da su se doista potrudili da njihov dual-sim mobitel bude što sličniji. Pa mi je najzanimljivije istaknuti okvir uređaja koji u potpunosti metalni i ima vrlo zgodan efekt s svim detaljima. Tu je također i glavna kamera koja je izbočena. Kada je u pitanju kvaliteta izrade moram priznati da i na tom području doista nisu sfušali posao nego je mobitel vrlo kvalitetan iznad svih mojih očekivanja pogotovo za ovaj cjenovni rang.

Zaslon

Mlais M4 Note ima 5.5 inča HD IPS 2.5D zaslon. Svakako mnogi će primijetiti da za ovu veličinu zaslona rezolucija ekrana bi mogla biti i veća i ja se s vama slažem oko toga. Mada tokom korištenja i uspoređujući ga s Full HD zaslonom nisam primijetio neke prevelike razlike. Dapače prikaz je vrlo oštar odnosno dobar dok je općenito prikaz ugodan za oko zahvaljujući vrlo ugodnim bojama. Osim toga tokom korištenja nisam ima problema oko digitezera koji vrlo precizan i funkcionira vrlo dobro.

Mlais M4 Note Hardver, performanse

Što nam krije ovaj klon, koji to hardver ima zasigurno se pitate. Po mojem mišljenju riječ o čistokrvnom mid range mobitelu koji ima ugrađen četverojezgreni procesor MediaTek MT6732 brzine 1.5GHZ i ima 2GB RAM-a. Dok za pohranu podataka su pripremili 16GB prostora koji možete povećati koristeći microSD karticu s maksimalnim kapacitetom 64GB.

Da bi igrice i filmski sadržaj radili glatko za to je pripremljena ARM Mali-T760 MP2 grafulja brzine 500MHz. Eto kao što možete vidjeti doista je riječ o srednje jakom mobitelu ali da vas ne bi zbunilo to svejedno ćete moći koristiti mobitel Mlais M4 Note za bilo što. Ja sam osobno dosta toga probao uključujući i igranje igrica i nisam naišao na probleme poput štekanja, lagova i sl. U nastavku možete vidjeti koje rezultate je postigao kod benchmark testiranja.

Softver i sučelje

Želio bih navesti da u posljednje vrijeme sve češće kod kineskih mobitela vidim da su isporučeni s sve čišćim ROM-ovima. Odnosno nemaju instalirane nepotrebne aplikacije i sl. Pa je i u ovom slučaju isto tako jer doslovce osim standardnih aplikacija drugih nije ni bilo. M4 Note ima instaliran Android 5.0 sustav koji je i vizualno klasičan odnosno nije modificiran. Kod prvog paljenja uređaja i spajanja na Wi-fi mrežu pojavila se je poruka da je dostupna nadogradnja koja ispravlja neke greške i veličine 130mb je bila. Sam sustav je inače stabilan i do sada nisam imao nekih problema kao što su usporen rad i sl.

Povezivanje

Možemo vidjeti da skoro svaki dual-sim mobitel ovih dana kao i Mlais M4 Note ima funkcije kao što su: GPS, Bluetooth v4, WIFI i podršku za 3G i 4G LTE mrežu. Sve funkcije rade onako kako bi i trebale raditi te GPS može raditi samostalno s preciznošću 4 metra. Za 3G mrežu podržava ove frekvencije: 850/900/1900/2100MHz dok za 4G mrežu podržava: 800/1800/2100/2600MHz.

Kamera

Glavna kamera ima 13 megapikselni senzor gdje je kamera opremljena s LED bljeskalicom te senzor ima f/2.2 otvor blende. Inače u ovom cjenovnom rangu koji je oko $140 u ovom slučaju ima iskreno vrlo malo kineskih mobitela koji ima kvalitetnu kameru. Nakon fotografiranja i nakon pregleda fotki mogu reći da je kvaliteta fotografija srednje kvalitete i u potpunosti odgovara ovom cjenovnom rangu. U nastavku možete vidjeti primjere fotografija.

Hong-kongoška tvrtka Mlais navodi da njihov model M4 Note ima bateriju s kapacitetom 2400mAh. Kod prosječnog korištenja traje maksimalno jedan dan što je čisto ok rezultat.

Zaključak

Eto kada sve sagledam kao zaključak mogu reći da me ova Samsung Galaxy Note 4 kopija nije uopće razočarala. Zapravo mogu slobodno reći da ima vrlo moderan dizajn i kvalitetnu izradu. Tu je i 5.5 inča HD 2.5D zaslon, vrlo dobar hardver, Android 5.0, 4G LTE i naravno vrlo niska cijena. Mlais is a Chinese smartphone brand. It may not be a famous brand but it is fast gaining recognition -- not only in China but also in its target markets like the U.S. and Britain. The Mlais MX and the Mlais M7 are the two smartphones that were released recently by the firm.

Mlais kept the pricing of the two devices secret before officially unveiling it. The company even launched a contest on its official Facebook account to have users guess the pricing of the two phones. Here are some details on the two models:

Mlais MX: Specifications And Pricing

The Mlais MX comes with a 5-inch display supporting HD resolution. Under its hood lies a MediaTek MT6735 chipset, which contains a 64-bit quad-core CPU clocking at 1.3 GHz. The SoC comes with support for 2 GB of RAM.

The internal storage of Mlais MX is 16 GB and users can add 64 GB of microSD. Other features of the handset include Android 5.0 Lollipop, dual-SIM support, 4G LTE connectivity, 13 MP camera on its rear and 8 MP frontal camera. The best feature is the massive 4800 mAh battery. The pre-order price of the Mlais MX is $139. Upon its launch, it will carry a price tag of $149.

The dual-SIM enabled Mlais M7 is a huge smartphone. It comes with a 5.5-inch screen that brings support for HD resolution. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6752 chipset that comprises a 64-bit octa-core processor that can record a clocking speed of 1.7 GHz, along with Mali-T760 graphics. The device also features 3 GB of RAM.

Its native storage is 16 GB and it supports microSD card of up to 64 GB capacity. The USP of the device is the fingerprint sensor slotted below the rear shooter of 16 MP. It comes with a 5 MP front-facing camera.
