Mlais M7 Real photos and hands on video

Posted on

For the past few weeks we have been waiting patiently for the launch of the latest top spec phones from 3 of the most talked about Chinese brands of the year so far. Those phones are the Elephone P7000, Ulefone Be Touch and the Mlais M7.

So far we have been impressed with the Ulefone Be Touch, and while the Elephone P7000 is still missing in action, the Mlais M7 has just appeared in real hands on photos and video:

As we have reported in the past, the Mlais M7 is a 5.5-inch, octacore MT6752 phone with 3GB RAM and rear fingerprint scanner. There is also a Sony 13 mega-pixel main camera, 2600mAh battery and Android 5.0 (as you can see in the video).
The Mlais M7 will come in white and black with a final retail price of $199.99, but if you can find it on preorder the phone can be had for slightly less at $189.99.

Now that you have seen the M7 in the flesh what do you make of the latest Mlais device.

Mlais’ Mid-Range M4 Note Handset Is Now Available For Pre-Order For $159.99

Mlais is one of many Asian smartphone manufacturers. This company is based in Hong Kong, though their warehouses are located in Shenzen, China. Mlais isn’t exactly the most popular smartphone OEM in China, this company has only released a couple of devices thus far, but are trying to make a name for themselves out in the market. This Hong Kong-based company has teased their upcoming handset quite recently, and have even released some specification information soon after and showed off the back side of the device itself.
Well, the company has now officially unveiled the device, and has announced that it’s available for pre-order. Let’s take a look at its full spec list, shall we. Mlais M4 Note features a 5.5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) IPS display (full lamination technology) along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD / T-Flash card up to 64GB. This handset is powered by MediaTek’s MT6732 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz which ships with a Mali-T760 GPU. The 13-megapixel camera is located on the back of this device, and is flanked by an LED flash. On the front side of the device, you’ll find an 8-megapixel 88-degree wide-angle snapper. 2,400mAh battery ships with this device, and we’re looking at a handset which offers dual-SIM (micro SIM + mini SIM), dual standby capability. Android 5.0 Lollipop comes pre-installed on this handset (along with some Mlais’ software features, like gestures for example) and you also get 4G LTE connectivity, FDD-LTE B1/3/7/20 (800/1800/2100/2600) bands. The Mlais M4 Note measures 156 x 80 x 8.4mm and it comes with Bluetooth 4.0 as well.
As far as the design of this handset goes, you get a stainless steel frame in combination with some plastic. This handset is incredibly similar to the Galaxy Note 4 as far as looks go, it’s impossible not to mention that. Capacitive button placement, general looks, shape, materials… though the specs and the software is completely different here. There are a ton of images in the gallery down below in case you’d like to take a closer look at the device. Mlais M4 Note is now available for pre-order from GearBest for $159.99, and this retailer will ship the handset your way for free. The M4 Note is available in Black and White color options.
